It's that time of the month again

Hey there!

Confession time: it's been 30 days (or possibly a tiny bit longer) since I last had full clarity on everything that's going on in my business. That means it's time for a planning session: tomorrow, October 1st, let's sit together for an hour and get all our priorities (and ducks) in a row. Register here to join (or just join us at 15:45 CET, which is 2:45 pm in the UK or 9:45 AM Eastern Time). If you can't make tomorrow (I know, this is kinda last minute), you can sign up already for next month.

It's also been many months since I've sat down with fellow creative & marketing people to chat about tools and workflows we use in our businesses. The things that make our own lives easier, that enable us to get more done, or that make working with us a better experience for our clients. Bring your questions (which software to use for X, what to use for solving Y?). And/or drop by to show us your setup! Register here.

With all this talk of coworking, planning sessions, and round tables, you'd almost forget I actually still run a business - I just don't write much about it. I've been fairly busy over the summer, organising content and writing on websites for the coolest projects. In the process, I've learned a lot about grass-fed dairy cows, coral reef insurance, greyhound behaviour, creamed honey, and so many other random and wonderful things. And I'm not nearly done learning :-)

If you are or know a web designer/developer or other professional looking for collaborations, OR a nature/wildlife organisation in need of a plan before they start paying someone to build their website, OR if you'd just like to chat about what I do and about what you do... I'd love to meet you! (Or them.) Book a call here.

Last but not least: if you're in or near Valencia (Spain) between 18 and 22 October, drop me a line if you'd like a real-life chat! I signed up for a business thingie and it looks like I'll have more free time than expected. Other destinations next quarter include Cadiz and Tenerife, those are part of our multi-year Spanish-road-trip mission.

Have a great day (or evening) for now, and hopefully see you soon!

P.S. I miss my coworking peeps, and I'm considering getting Monday coworking back on track, now that I'm back in Spain and here to stay (for a bit). Please reply (or send me a message elsewhere) if you'd be interested!

Working online + living off the beaten path

Online entrepreneurs who live in rural areas don't have access to many tools that "regular" business owners take for granted: from networking lunches and coworking spaces to local friends who "get it"... we're on our own. Or are we? Sign up for tips and tools straight from our off-grid olive farm in Spain - and join us for virtual coworking, planing workshops, and other online events.

Hi Reader, Summer's here in Spain - it went from 0 to full speed without warning. We were just in time to shear the alpacas (pics on Instagram), and I'm slowly adapting to the routine of taking an afternoon "siesta" break (when it's too hot to work anyway) and watering the garden every night. To stay on track with actual work-work, I'm hosting another planning workshop today (May 29th). Register or join via this link; and see dates for next months in the event calendar. In said event...

Hi Reader, Quick reminder - I'll be hosting a March planning workshop tomorrow at 15:45 Central European Time, 2.45 pm UK time, and 9.45 am Eastern US time, or horribly early if you're on the West Coast ;-) As usual this isn't about vision-casting and goal-setting, but about making sure we get done what we want to do in the upcoming month. Butter, my beloved meeting tool, is retiring (literally tomorrow) - so we'll be on Google Meet. register or join through here In other news... The past two...

Hi Reader, I hope you had a great start to the new year! Here in the middle of nowhere, Spain, the year started cold and cloudy... I can't remember using our back-up generator this often (just to fill up the batteries) for the whole time we've lived off-grid. The alpacas don't seem to mind though, I envy their thick layer of fleece! Anyway, I've got a couple of quick announcements & reminders for you today: This Thursday (January 8th), I'm hosting a 2026 planning call. No vision-casting and...
