March planning tomorrow... and making changes in my business!

 Hi Reader,

Quick reminder - I'll be hosting a March planning workshop tomorrow at 15:45 Central European Time, 2.45 pm UK time, and 9.45 am Eastern US time, or horribly early if you're on the West Coast ;-) As usual this isn't about vision-casting and goal-setting, but about making sure we get done what we want to do in the upcoming month.

Butter, my beloved meeting tool, is retiring (literally tomorrow) - so we'll be on Google Meet.

In other news... The past two weeks (and coming home from 4 weeks away!) came with loads of changes, most of them months in the making. Here's the short version:

  • After 5 years of certification, I left the StoryBrand program. I still love the framework (it just works!), but couldn't justify the ongoing cost; most of my clients don't care which methods I use, as long as they get clarity and results.
(If you're a fellow (former) SB guide reading this, keep an eye out for an email with more details - I'll still be hosting UK/EU meetups and online roundtables!)
  • I am no longer offering big and bold WordPress projects as a core offer; I find many of my favourite clients simply don't need to make such an investment to get a beautiful, functional, and hassle-free website.
  • Instead, I'm focusing on messaging and website strategy; understanding what your website needs before you start can literally save you thousands (and several months of your life). This sometimes turns into a done-with-you website, or I can refer you to and/or work with a trusted website designer/developer to make it happen.
  • I (continue to) offer a budget-friendly "move and improve" package, for those wanting to move their website from WordPress (or a different platform that's not working for them) to Squarespace. We'll be improving clarity, conversion, and/or user experience as we rebuild - and we do it in a matter of days, not months.
  • Last but not least, I'm looking to build more connections with nature/wildlife conservation organisations, or anyone working with animals or the outdoors space. I'll be giving away free website audits and consultations to non-profits in that space - and to those who connect me with cool new people! Know anyone who's not quite sure what to do with their website? I'm happy to talk!

Get in touch if you'd like to know more about any of the above - or go right ahead and

I'd love to hear if you have thoughts about any of the above! Including recommendations for a user-friendly meeting platform that does automated recordings & transcripts and isn't Zoom, in case this week's Google Meet experiment doesn't pan out :-)

In the meantime, maybe see you tomorrow?

Hi Reader, Summer's here in Spain - it went from 0 to full speed without warning. We were just in time to shear the alpacas (pics on Instagram), and I'm slowly adapting to the routine of taking an afternoon "siesta" break (when it's too hot to work anyway) and watering the garden every night. To stay on track with actual work-work, I'm hosting another planning workshop today (May 29th). Register or join via this link; and see dates for next months in the event calendar. In said event...

Hi Reader, I hope you had a great start to the new year! Here in the middle of nowhere, Spain, the year started cold and cloudy... I can't remember using our back-up generator this often (just to fill up the batteries) for the whole time we've lived off-grid. The alpacas don't seem to mind though, I envy their thick layer of fleece! Anyway, I've got a couple of quick announcements & reminders for you today: This Thursday (January 8th), I'm hosting a 2026 planning call. No vision-casting and...

Hi Reader, Whether you worked through the holidays or took some well-deserved time off, I hope you had a great start to 2025. As you may know by now, I strongly believe that when we stick together and help each other out, we can each be better at what we do. And I don't mean just producing better results - but also being better at setting priorities, balancing work vs personal time, and generally feeling better about ourselves and our work. To that end, I'm hosting 3 different types of calls...
